RETURNS & EXCHANGES

At Get Chicago Packaging, we aim for your complete satisfaction with every order. If a return or exchange is necessary, please review the guidelines below.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must meet the following requirements:

  • Unused and in resalable condition

  • In original, undamaged packaging

  • Return request submitted within 30 days of delivery

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom-made products
    (custom printing, custom sizes, custom additives, special production setups)

  • Special-order or non-stock items
    (products brought in specifically for your request)

2. Reasons We Accept Returns / Exchanges

✔ Errors on Our Part

If Get Chicago Packaging ships an incorrect item or quantity, we will accept the return or arrange an exchange at no cost to you.

✔ Change of Mind

You may return an item if you change your mind.
A 15%–20% restocking fee will apply (determined by item type).

✔ Customer Order Error

If the wrong size or product type was ordered:

  • The customer is responsible for all freight costs for returning the product and shipping any replacement items.

  • Square Payment Refund Notice: Square’s 2.9% payment processing fee is non-refundable. For orders paid through Square, this fee will be deducted from the credited amount.

3. How to Start a Return or Exchange

Please follow these steps to ensure fast processing:

Step 1 — Contact Customer Service

Email our team at orders@getchicagopackaging.com to initiate your request.

Step 2 — Provide Order Details

Include:

  • PO number or invoice number

  • Items being returned

  • Quantities

  • Reason for the return or exchange

Step 3 — Receive Your RMA Number

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required.
Returns will not be accepted without a valid RMA.

Step 4 — Returning the Items

Customer-arranged return shipping:
Most returns require the customer to send items back at their expense.

Get Chicago Packaging–arranged pickup:
If we arrange pickup, please provide:

  • Full pickup address

  • Receiving hours

  • Contact person name and phone number

Step 5 — Mark All Return Shipments Clearly

Write your RMA number on:

  • Each box or skid

  • All paperwork included with the shipment

Step 6 — Exchanges & Credit Processing

  • Replacement items (if needed) will be created under a new order

  • Returned products will be inspected before credit is issued

  • Credits are typically processed on Fridays

  • Please allow time for the credit to appear in your account
